DoorMetrics now supports barcode ID scanning with the internal camera on your iPhone or iPod Touch! Great for bartenders, waiters and managers who already own an iPhone and have no use for a commercial ID scanner like the Linea Pro or Honeywell Captuvo.

Marijuana Dispensary Support
Custom ID scanning icons inspired by the legalization of marijuana in Colorado. Like alcohol, the required age to legally purchase marijuana in Colorado is 21 years old. Designed for Colorado's marijuana dispensaries, the DoorMetrics Colorado Edition not only looks cool but assures that you are adhering to State laws.
By using the 'Status' feature in DoorMetrics, you can also keep track of how much cannabis your customers are purchasing on a daily basis. See here for an example.

In our testing, we achieved about 1800-2000 ID scans per hour with each of the scanners listed below.

Repeat Scan Alert
Our 'repeat scan alert' is great for college bars or marijuana dispensaries.
1. At many college bars, a person who is legally over 21 will enter a bar and then 'pass back' his ID or Driver's License to someone waiting in line who might be underage.
2. At marijuana dispensaries in Colorado, residents are only allowed to purchase up to 1 ounce of cannabis per 24 hours and non-residents may purchase up to 1/4 ounce per 24 hours.
The DoorMetrics repeat scan alert can be set to alert you of repeat scanned ID's in 1 hour increments to 24 hours.
Scan Driver's licenses from USA and Canada as well as US Military ID's
DoorMetrics supports barcode and magnetic stripe scanning from all 50 US States, and Canadian provinces. It also supports scanning of US
government issued ID cards for the military.
